Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, the LVN will provide nursing care to patients and residents under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. We want our LVN to have strong clinical skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and the ability to collaborate with a team. This position is an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on patients in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
2. Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
3. Support mobility by safely transferring and repositioning patients
4. Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
6. Communicate effectively with nurses and therapy staff regarding patient needs and changes
7. Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
8. Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed
Qualifications:
A valid LVN license
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
A proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
Strong communication, problem-solving,
Organizational skills
Comfortable working with a diverse patient population
Ability to work well under pressure.
