Compassionate Nursing Assistant Overview
We are seeking a Compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide hands-on nursing care to patients in post-acute, short-term rehab, and long-term care settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact on patients’ daily lives while working alongside a collaborative, skilled healthcare team.
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions.
- Support patient mobility by safely transferring and repositioning individuals.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other staff regarding patient needs and changes.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Texas
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care with empathy
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse patient population
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
